There are two clubs in London called Moons; one in Mayfair and one in Soho. Mary Dorland is singing at the cheap one, but her father, who does not approve of her singing career, believes she is performing at the Society one...

Mary, against her father's wishes, works as a singer in the modest Moon club at Soho with pianist and partner Billy, and the two are in love. He composes a good song but agencies aren't interested. Then the recording company in which Mary's father works plans to visit another high-class Moon club at Soho, and the father believes it is there that Mary works, expecting to see her act. So the young couple tries to find a way to get in. At the same time their boss dubious affairs will cause an accident which will have direct consequences upon them.
